“Families don't have to match. You don't have to look like someone else to love them.” – Leigh Anne Tuohy

At United Connections Foster Family Agency, Inc., we recognize that every child and family is unique. They have their own needs, preferences, goals, and circumstances. With this understanding, we endeavor to provide customized services to meet the needs of our individual clients.

With a team of skilled professionals, we offer:

24-Hour Case Management Services

Becoming a foster parent isn’t always easy and problems can arise at any time. This is why we offer our case management services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are here to answer your inquiries, alleviate your concerns, and offer the support that you need.

Treatment Planning

Some children in foster care are survivors of neglect, abuse, or abandonment. They often carry emotional, mental, and physical issues that need treatment. This is where we can help. We can help foster parents get in touch with the appropriate professionals to get their child the treatment that they need.

Foster Parent Training and Support

Fostering a child is a joyous occasion. It doesn’t matter if you are a new or experienced foster parent – having that responsibility of fostering a child can be overwhelming for anyone. This is why we offer foster parent training and support. We are ready to educate parents and provide them with the necessary skills to properly care for a child.

Mental Health Services and Counseling

Some children in foster care may carry emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues as a result of a trauma in their previous home. In order to address these issues, we offer the services of mental health professionals. They can offer clinical assessment, one-on-one counseling, foster family counseling, and crisis response services.

Mentoring Psycho-educational Groups

We offer training and psycho-educational services to families and groups who are interested to learn more about the foster care system. Our mentoring psycho-educational groups tackle topics such as how to become a foster parent, how to handle foster children, getting matched, and so on.

Resource Referrals

When the services that we offer aren’t sufficient to meet the needs of a foster child family, we provide appropriate resource referrals. With our assistance, we help children and families get the help that they need from agencies or professionals best suited to help them.
